Printers Row
Chicago's historic printing district
Tell us a little about you, and we'll shape the story around what matters most.
Morning at the range. The plank table under the beams. Long afternoon light through the industrial windows. Up the spiral to the study. And the room at the top, when the day is done.

The Printers Building
This building
1908
Built as a printing factory
Printers Row was named for what happened inside these buildings. The heavy timber overhead is structural, not decorative, it was framed to carry the weight of printing presses. The glazed tile and terrazzo in the lobby are original.
“From first light to the last of the evening, every scene belongs to this loft.”
One address. Four seasons. Nothing about it stays the same.

"Light moves across the beams through the morning, the brick holds it into the afternoon, and nothing in the room pretends to be new."
